Psalm150:6

Psalm150:6

Let everything that
has breathe give
praise to the Lord!
Hallelujah!

Let Everything That Has Breath

Matt Redman

Lyrics: CHORUS:
Let everything that, everything that,
Everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Let everything that, everything that,
Everything that has breath praise the Lord.

VERSE 1:
Praise You in the morning,
Praise You in the evening,
Praise You when I'm young and when I'm old.
Praise You when I'm laughing,
Praise You when I'm grieving,
Praise You every season of the soul.
If we could see how much You're worth,
Your power, Your might, Your endless love,
Then surely we would never cease to praise.

VERSE 2:
Praise You in the heavens, joining with the angels,
Praising You forever and a day.
Praise You on the earth now, joining with creation,
Calling all the nations to Your praise.
If they could see how much You're worth,
Your power, your might, your endless love,
Then surely they would never cease to praise.

Well today Giovanni and I played pool! It was awesome!

As you can see I was the loser, and Giovanni was the winner!
I got beat 2-0, when it could have been a tie! I let him win! Haha! JK

Giovani and decided to lift some weights yesterday! We had a blast!
We even matching hats.

Hey Ashley here are two pictures of Kristen!
She is is my little girlfriend!

Philippians 4:4-9

Philippians 4:4-9

Rejoice in the Lord always. I
shall say it again:rejoice! Your
kindness should be known to all.
The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at
all, but in everything, by prayer
and petition, with thanksgiving,
make your requests known to God.
Then the peace of God that
surpasses all understanding will
guard your hearts and minds in
Christ, Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever
is true, whatever is honorable,
whatever is just, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is
gracious, if there is any excellence
and if there is anything worthy of
praise, think about these things.
Keep on doing what you have
learned and received and heard
seen in me. Then the God of peace
will be with you.

Wowza this is incredibly awesome! It's telling us to prepare for the coming of the Lord! Woohoo! It tells us to rejoice for the coming of the Lord. Is it that easy! I mean, are you prepared and ready for the coming of the Lord? We are to do the Lord's work, to follow his commandments, and to be a Christian to all.
One more thing! Christ is coming soon, but we do not know when. I have some friends, who think Christ is coming in 2012. The thing is is that we do not know at all. The bible tells He is going to come like a thief in the night. You know this is one of the reasons why I have changed my life. You can pretty much call it a conversion back to Catholicism. I had a lot of trouble with Catholicism, but that's another story, which I will tell tomorrow. It is time for others to hear about my conversion, and you will hear about it tomorrow!

John21:25

John21:25

There are also many other
things that Jesus did, but
if these were to be described
individually, I do not think
the whole world would
contain the books that would
be written.

Wow I still can't get over how incredibly brilliant the disciples were in talking about Christ's life. It says here not all of what Christ did is written in the Bible. I can't imagine how many miracles Christ worked. Everything that John wrote is amazing. Can you imagine if all of Christ's miracles and his whole life's story was written? Wow, that would be amazing!

Lamentations2:4

Lamentations2:4

He has bent his bow like an enemy,
with his right hand set like a foe:
and he has slain all the pride of our
eyes
in the tent of the daughter of
Zion;
he has poured out his fury like fire.

Wow this powerful! I thank my friend Giovani for picking this verse out and revealing his thoughts in this manner. "I hope that I haven't been the cause for his bow bending cuz if I waz, holy cow, I'm dead. But the only reason this message is so threatening is because to those who reject God and his word, justice must be shown, for we are told in the Bible that God is eternally just. However we are relived when it tells that he is also eternally merciful and for this we can be eternally grateful by just fulfilling his desires. (It is smart to be on God's side) How can we be in the favor of God,... well it says right here in this verse. Pride and God's infinite love is like water in oil, It can't be mixed. It will always separate."

Romans8:28

Romans8:28

We know that all things work
for good for those who love
God, who are called according
to his purpose.

This is one of my mom's favorite verses. This verse tells us that all things work out in life. Even when a tragedy strikes in our life and if we have God in our life, God makes things work out. Like after a tragedy happens, he could send a gift to you when you aren't even expecting it. Despite suffering in circumstances happiness will always excel. (quoted from my fiend Giovani) Go sometimes works through people on this earth to bless those who have had tragedies in their lives. For example: Ty Pennington on his show Extreme Makeover goes and totally demolishes houses! He does an extreme makeover for those who have had tragedies strike in their lives. Look him up and definitely watch his show. God Bless!!!

Colossians 3:1-4

Colossians 3:1-4

If then you were raised with Christ,
seek what is above, where Christ is
seated at the right hand of God.
Think of what is above, not of what
is on earth. For you have died , and
your life is hidden with Christ in
God. When Christ your life appears,
then you too will appear with him in glory.

I believe this is talking about when Christ died on the cross he would open the gates of heaven. All those who had died had been waiting for Christ's Resurrection ,so that they could live forever with Christ in heaven. So this passage is telling the dead when Christ opens the gates to heaven to look onto it with awe and happiness, and not at what is taking place in the world. That is what I believe it means!

"Upon the Battlefield" by Mary Harrison

"Upon the Battlefield" by Mary Harrison

Walk through a battle

with your eyes open

to see things anew

There you will find

a many things unknown

your mortal eyes unspared

Walk through a battle

with your feet bare

to feel the blood

There you will see

a many things unseen

your child's view slain

Walk through a battle

with your heart closed

your sad pain spared

There you will feel

a many things unfelt

your pure heart rended

The pain you feel

is nothing when compared

to the slain there

Mark1:40-45

Mark1:40-45

A leper came to Him[and kneeling down]
begged Him and said,"If you wish, you can
make me clean." Moved with pity, He
stretched out his hand and touched him,
and said to him," I do will it. Be made clean."
The leprosy left the leper immediately,
and he was made clean. Then He said to
him," See to it that you tell no one anything,
but go, show yourself to the priest and offer
for your cleansing what Moses
prescribed: that will be proof for them."
The man went away and began to
publicize the whole matter. He spread the
report abroad so that it was impossible
for Jesus to enter a town openly. He
remained outside in the deserted places,
and people kept coming to him from everywhere.

Unbelievable! Christ healing a leper is unbelievable. Because in that time frame their was no cure for leprosy. The lepers were shunned. They had their own isolated places to live. I mean this disease caused body parts to fall off. Very nasty! So now a man with leprosy comes up to Christ , and Christ heals him. Jesus then asks the man to tell only the priests, no one else. What does this man do? He tells everyone. How awful! Not really I mean if you were healed by someone, would you keep it a secret?

One of My Favorite Verses

Mark 10:2-9

And Pharisees came up and in order to
test him
asked, " Is it lawful for a man
to divorce his wife?"
He answered
them," What did Moses command you?"

They said Moses allowed a man to write
a certificate
of divorce, and to put her
away." But Jesus said to
them," For
your hardness of heart he wrote you
this
commandment. But from the
beginning of creation,
'.God made them
male and female.'
For this reason a
man shall leave his father and mother
and be joined
to his wife, and the two
shall become one. So they are
no
longer two but one.What therefore
God has put
together, let no man put
asunder."

When I was about five or six years old my sisters and brother would act out a wedding. I have always loved and cherished the gift of marriage. Wow so today is about divorce and marriage. This is my favorite verse, because marriage is a blessing. It is bonding together for life.
Christ tells the Pharisees it is because of the them that Moses allowed divorce. He wasn't pointing at them, but what he meant was that the Jews hearts were heard. That at Moses' time they didn't trust God, and all they though about was themselves. They didn't care who they were hurting. All they wanted was what pleased them.
Divorce is so ugly. I have seen what divorces does! They shatter lives. It is heart-breaking to hear about it, and to see it happen.
In our neighborhood we have one family with three kids that are separating and two sets of couples that are separating. I even have an aunt that went through a divorce, and it was a mess. She was crying all the time. I felt bad. I was upset because it could have been stopped. I believe to have a forever-lasting marriage It is like a virus. Divorce is like a everyday tragedy.
When people are getting into a divorce I immediately think about there children. I wished they would think about there kids before they did it. I mean if you ponder these thoughts I would immediately change my decision.
1.)How much is it going to hurt them to find out their father or mother are separating?
2.) You have lived with your parents and seen them your whole life, and now you will never see either your mother or father.
3.) For your kids future: What will they do when they grow up and get married- will they think it is okay to divorce, because your parents did it.

Children take this hard when divorce happens. They might even get in trouble with the law because of drugs, alcohol, and sex. They will choose and hang out with the wrong friends. They even might commit suicide, which is then destroying their own life.

God Is Great for giving the gift of marriage. Here is a list of my beliefs to have a strong marriage:

1.) First and above all you must have a strong relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are the source to
marriage.

2.) You must truly love your spouse. People marry for money reasons, and for just the beauty of a spouse, and I mean just for her body.

3.) Prayer is a huge gift from God. Pray to Mary and to the saints and angels!

4.) When fighting talk things over with no yelling but with calmness.

5.) Trust in your spouse at all times never doubt!

These are only some of the reasons. Remember that marriage is a gift, and if you are not going to live with Christ in your heart, things will never work out.

AMEN

YouTube - Third Day- Born Again

James 1:19-21

I have decide to start reading passages from the bible and I am going to explain what I think it means. One passage each day! It is kind of like a Blog Bible Study that I want to start. I feel God wants me to do this! Well here is the first verse:

"Know this, my beloved brethren.
Let every man be quick to hear,
slow to speak, slow to anger,
for the anger of man does not work
the righteousness of God. Therefore
put away all filthiness and rank growth
of wickedness and receive with
meekness the implanted word,
which is able to save your souls." James 1:19-21

Wow how powerful! It is so true when we are angry it is very hard to live for Christ. We can get angry at God and shut him out of our lives. Anger is such a deadly poison, that can make us do hateful things. For example I was watching the news and a story came on. A man in Haiti killed his family, kids, wife and even his father. How could someone do that? Well if you do not have Christ in your life you will never have true happiness. This verse tells us to put away sin and to come and live in full happiness with Christ. God is so amazing!

Please if you have anything else to share do so? Please do comment on this?

Hard Decisions and questions!

This week I made a very hard decision. I decide to approach a friend, who is need of help. It was very hard due to how great of friends we were. I know it was the right thing to do though, ans sadly it has effected our friendship. We do not talk anymore whatsoever.
Ask yourself these questions when making or even if you have friends now.
(1.)Will they always be there for you?
(2.)Will they lead you to the path towards Heaven or will they lead you to Hell?
(3.)If they need help-will they listen to what you say, because you want to help them?
(4.)If you need help-will you listen to what they have to say?
Remember to ask yourself if you are tempted to sin, " Is it worth it??"

God is so great that He he put his only begotten son on this earth to die for us. the biggest thing we can do for Him is to live our for him. God made us all, and there are many and I mean many good Christian people to meet us and lead us straight to God!

Without Christ There Is No Peace
God Bless,
Jon
