Impressing Who?

Many times when I was younger I struggled on how I was to make friends, so I decided to change my life. The thing I decided to do was to be cool. I mean dress cool, act cool, and be cool. Ha! Ha! It started working. I was very happy! I was making great friends that is what I thought. It turned out my ways of being cool was making me treat my siblings like they were nothing. My siblings then started to treat me like I was nothing. As time went by I was getting sad and depressed. I then became very upset! Then one day I was blessed to get talked to by my wise woman. , who is a blessing in my life. My mom came to me and told me being cool doesn't impress people. That is when I decided to change my life. As I went back to my life I was and felt happier.
As I look back in my life I understand. I was a complete idiot. It doesn't matter how cool you are or act. It doesn't impress people. if it does impress people then those people are going to be just as sad and depressed as me.
God is so great. It doesn't matter how cool you are, God is looking in your heart and soul not on the outside of you. He is looking on how you live for Him by treating people kind and loving!

What Has Become of Our Country!

Today I was blessed to receive an email that might have changed the way I view the United States. People in the the United States is immoral and evil. People here in the U.S. are not satisfied in what they get. All they want is more. I am also talking about movies now a days. Every movie that comes out is rated PG13 or R. Rarely do I see PG or G rated films. The directors just want to satisfy people, who's wants are to see evil things of the world. Even movie stars or just models have gotten to the point where people adore them! Peole want to be just like them. I cant believe these people. It is like they have put God out of their lives, sadly. Even now in major league sports, it is isn't even viewed as a game anymore. It is viewed on who can make the most money out of everyone, while their are good teams out there that don't want that. I thank God for those teams. These are not even all of the evils of the world but some.
What I am getting at is that other countries are so poor that giving a child an apple would be a blessing to them. Maybe I am getting at being a missionary, staying close to Christ doing missionary work, being a good Christian in the states is the only way to be truly happy. I am sure if you do this God will look up to you as His own blessings. I just want you to ponder on this for awhile. God Bless!!!
