Happy New Years!!!!!

I wish all a Happy New Years! God Bless you all. This new year I ask you to fulfill this New Years resolution! I ask you to pray every day and night. I ask you to go to Church every Sunday. Christ gave us his time on the earth, so why can't we spend some hours with him at Church. I also ask especially to do kind acts of faith, hope, and love. Be kinder to your siblings, elders, and especially parents. God loved us so much that He gave us his only Son to us to live and then die on the cross for us to free all mankind from sin! If you fulfill this resolution I have a feeling that you may even be happier and enjoy life more. God Bless and have a Happy New Year!

God Bless America And All Other Countries!

America does need our new year of 2009. I ask especially from God that President Barack Obama, our new President, will be guided by Christ not by the world. That he knows the right decisions to make.
Also, I see so much God Bless America! Yes, America does need blessed, but so do the other countries as in India, the Philippines, Africa, etc. They need blessed because of the missionaries and the poor. All our enemies need a special blessing. Also pray for the countries who have military power, that they may be guided to use it wisely. So remember to say special prayers for not just our country but for others.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! Let us not forget to give thanks to God for this special holiday. Also thank God for our families. They are always their for each other. It is a blessing to have family to hang around with. They are many kids without family in other countries without families, so let us pray to God to bless these children in a special way.

True Friends!!!

Friends! The best friend in my life is God, because He sees and knows all things and I can talk to him. My second best friends is my family. Even though I fight a lot with them I love them so much. Then just people around me that I know are my best friends. From young to old I have friends in my life that I enjoy.
They are a gift from God that is if you pick the right ones. I mean think of this and ask yourself then, "Is he or she truly a friend?" They are always their for each other. I love my friends. They are incredibly awesome. What if you didn't have friends. I am sure you would be depressed and upset, and sad.
I picked this topic, because their are many who think they have a true friend. Are they a true friend though? Please do read the rest to understand. Are your friends always there for you? Do your friends use you to get what they want? Think about this some more. I mean their are many questions you can be asking yourself about a true friend. Are you a true friend?

Here are some pictures of my friends. Many of them have helped me in my past. Some of them have helped me decide what I want to do in my life.

Here is a picture of all of my home school friends at a
youth conference. We are with some Franciscan friars, who
are incredible because of their zeal and love for our
Lord. Even though I do not feel the call to become a friar I
love still think they are incredible.

(on the left is my friend Tony, the top step
is Brian, right is Michael, and middle is me)
A little note: If we had a band we would have used this
for the cover of our CD, and would have called ourselves
Sanctifying Souls, but sadly we do not play any
instruments.

Here are my friends with some of the people we met when
we went to New York City to see the Franciscan friars and
also to help feed the poor. It was incredibly awesome,
because it was the first time I wanted
to go out and help the poor.

Lastly here are my two sisters.
My twin sister Joanna is on the
bottom, and Sarah is in the middle.

Temptations

What exactly are temptations? From the Catholic Dictionary from John A. Harden it teaches "that temptations are the attractiveness of bad examples. There is also a demonic temptation from evil spirits that encourage every form of avarice or selfishness in order to lead one to pride, which then leads to other sins." Why did I choose this, because I struggle in my daily life to keep with God. I feel if I do not give time to God then it will be hard for me that day to fall into temptation. That is why when i get up and go to bed I say prayers and stay close to Christ. Temptations are so powerful, and their are ways to battle against these temptations. The most powerful way is prayer! Second way is to go to Church and stay faithful to God.
These are my ways that we can fall into temptations. Please do not take it personal! The way we dress is a huge factor as in dressing to show off our bodies to get attraction. Also picking friends and leaving out some. As in picking the cool friends and leaving out the not so cool. Cool people can be very bad. Hanging out with out friends that don't use the best language can lead us into using bad language. Also Christ didn't fall into temptations so why should we. Here are my favorite historical Bible verses from Mathew 4: 1-11

1 THEN Jesus was led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in [their] hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
The Devil, is, of course, Satan. Jesus said he was a murderer from the beginning and that he has no truth in him (John 8:44).

In that regard, he is like the lion who is seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8).

We must resist him in all things and with all prayer (1 Peter 5:9).

When we so resist, he will flee from us, because he is truly a coward (James 4:7).

- the father of lies (John 8:44)
- the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4)
- prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2)
- the adversary (1 Peter 5:8)
- the deceiver of the whole world (Revelation 12:9)
- the great dragon (Revelation 12:9)
- the ancient serpent (Revelation 12:9)
- the accuser of our brethren (Revelation 12:10)

Life Belongs To God

God is so powerful and wonderful! Just this week I found out what God is calling me to do.

I finally know what God wants of me. He wants me to go out into the world and work for him. I mean to another country. I feel he wants me to go and help with the poor, esp. the children. I believe he may be calling me to either India, South America, and the Philippines. I still do not know which one. Each day I pray that God will let me know where to go! He is so awesome. God is Everything, and all I want! On the picture on the left is in India Look how small the house is. Isn't that sad? Now on the right side makes my heart tear! It is so painful to look at these pictures. The children are helpless and need our love. God is so great! He died for us to save us. Also the picture on the top of this is about how powerful prayer is. It is powerful and through the Holy Spirit God has shown me what He wants me to do. Pray always, and God will help you to find out what He wants you to do.
