Happy New Years!!!!!

I wish all a Happy New Years! God Bless you all. This new year I ask you to fulfill this New Years resolution! I ask you to pray every day and night. I ask you to go to Church every Sunday. Christ gave us his time on the earth, so why can't we spend some hours with him at Church. I also ask especially to do kind acts of faith, hope, and love. Be kinder to your siblings, elders, and especially parents. God loved us so much that He gave us his only Son to us to live and then die on the cross for us to free all mankind from sin! If you fulfill this resolution I have a feeling that you may even be happier and enjoy life more. God Bless and have a Happy New Year!

God Bless America And All Other Countries!

America does need our new year of 2009. I ask especially from God that President Barack Obama, our new President, will be guided by Christ not by the world. That he knows the right decisions to make.
Also, I see so much God Bless America! Yes, America does need blessed, but so do the other countries as in India, the Philippines, Africa, etc. They need blessed because of the missionaries and the poor. All our enemies need a special blessing. Also pray for the countries who have military power, that they may be guided to use it wisely. So remember to say special prayers for not just our country but for others.

It is a blessing to have family to hang around with. They are many kids without family in other countries without families, so let us pray to God to bless these children in a special way.

True Friends!!!

Friends! The best friend in my life is God, because He sees and knows all things and I can talk to him. My second best friends is my family. Even though I fight a lot with them I love them so much. Then just people around me that I know are my best friends. From young to old I have friends in my life that I enjoy.
They are a gift from God that is if you pick the right ones. I mean think of this and ask yourself then, "Is he or she truly a friend?" They are always their for each other. I love my friends. They are incredibly awesome. What if you didn't have friends. I am sure you would be depressed and upset, and sad.
I picked this topic, because their are many who think they have a true friend. Are they a true friend though? Please do read the rest to understand. Are your friends always there for you? Do your friends use you to get what they want? Think about this some more. I mean their are many questions you can be asking yourself about a true friend. Are you a true friend?

Here are some pictures of my friends. Many of them have helped me in my past. Some of them have helped me decide what I want to do in my life.

Here is a picture of all of my home school friends at a
youth conference. We are with some Franciscan friars, who
are incredible because of their zeal and love for our
Lord. Even though I do not feel the call to become a friar I
love still think they are incredible.

(on the left is my friend Tony, the top step
is Brian, right is Michael, and middle is me)
A little note: If we had a band we would have used this
for the cover of our CD, and would have called ourselves
Sanctifying Souls, but sadly we do not play any
instruments.

Here are my friends with some of the people we met when
we went to New York City to see the Franciscan friars and
also to help feed the poor. It was incredibly awesome,
because it was the first time I wanted
to go out and help the poor.

Lastly here are my two sisters.
My twin sister Joanna is on the
bottom, and Sarah is in the middle.

Temptations

What exactly are temptations? From the Catholic Dictionary from John A. Harden it teaches "that temptations are the attractiveness of bad examples. There is also a demonic temptation from evil spirits that encourage every form of avarice or selfishness in order to lead one to pride, which then leads to other sins." Why did I choose this, because I struggle in my daily life to keep with God. I feel if I do not give time to God then it will be hard for me that day to fall into temptation. That is why when i get up and go to bed I say prayers and stay close to Christ. Temptations are so powerful, and their are ways to battle against these temptations. The most powerful way is prayer! Second way is to go to Church and stay faithful to God.
These are my ways that we can fall into temptations. Please do not take it personal! The way we dress is a huge factor as in dressing to show off our bodies to get attraction. Also picking friends and leaving out some. As in picking the cool friends and leaving out the not so cool. Cool people can be very bad. Hanging out with out friends that don't use the best language can lead us into using bad language. Also Christ didn't fall into temptations so why should we. Here are my favorite historical Bible verses from Mathew 4: 1-11

1 THEN Jesus was led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in [their] hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
The Devil, is, of course, Satan. Jesus said he was a murderer from the beginning and that he has no truth in him (John 8:44).

In that regard, he is like the lion who is seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8).

We must resist him in all things and with all prayer (1 Peter 5:9).

When we so resist, he will flee from us, because he is truly a coward (James 4:7).

- the father of lies (John 8:44)
- the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4)
- prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2)
- the adversary (1 Peter 5:8)
- the deceiver of the whole world (Revelation 12:9)
- the great dragon (Revelation 12:9)
- the ancient serpent (Revelation 12:9)
- the accuser of our brethren (Revelation 12:10)

Life Belongs To God

God is so powerful and wonderful! Just this week I found out what God is calling me to do.

I finally know what God wants of me. He wants me to go out into the world and work for him. I mean to another country. I feel he wants me to go and help with the poor, esp. the children. I believe he may be calling me to either India, South America, and the Philippines. I still do not know which one. Each day I pray that God will let me know where to go! He is so awesome. God is Everything, and all I want! On the picture on the left is in India Look how small the house is. Isn't that sad? Now on the right side makes my heart tear! It is so painful to look at these pictures. The children are helpless and need our love. God is so great! He died for us to save us. Also the picture on the top of this is about how powerful prayer is. It is powerful and through the Holy Spirit God has shown me what He wants me to do. Pray always, and God will help you to find out what He wants you to do.

WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO!!!!!!!!

Many know that Black Friday is a very crazy day. Well, I saw how crazy it was, because I worked. Sadly, the night of Black Friday I found out that an employee from a Walmart out of state died. She was trampled and killed. How awful is that? This makes me sick! I mean yeah it is a crazy day, but you shouldn't go running into a store. There are so many in different countries that have nothing. We should think about them rather than what we want. Pepole forget that we can help these poor people in other countries by sending money and praying. God Bless You All!!!

WAR

How aweful it is to see war rage on. The most powerful way to try and stop it is prayer. Today I saw in the news how terrorists went on a merciless massacre with grenades and guns in Mumbai, India . I wish God could do something about terrorists, but it is the way of life. Suffering is big part in this. It is so hard because I would hate to see my family die like that. How would you like to be in these peoples lives and see your family shot down. I would hate it, so I ask you once you do read this, please to thank God for the ways he has blessed us. In the one picture look how much the woman is suffering. It tears my heart how she probably lost a loved one in her life.

Prayer of Thanksgiving
Walter Rauschenbusch

O God, we thank you for this earth, our home; For the wide sky and the blessed sun,For the salt sea and the running water,For the everlasting hillsAnd the never-resting winds,For trees and the common grass underfoot. We thank you for our sensesBy which we hear the songs of birds,And see the splendor of the summer fields,And taste of the autumn fruits,And rejoice in the feel of the snow,And smell the breath of the spring.Grant us a heart wide open to all this beauty; And save our souls from being so blindThat we pass unseeingWhen even the common thornbushIs aflame with your glory,O God our creator,Who lives and reigns for ever and ever.

I wish all a Happy Thanksgiving! Remember it is a time for family and to thank God for the bountiful food he has given us. God Bless you and God Bless America

Suffering

We talked about suffering this weekend at my Church. It was a great topic to talk about, because Christ suffered on the cross for our sins. We suffer through losing friends, people dying, depression, etc. If we look back in our lives we see how much Christ endured and went through. Remember never to lose faith in God. He always loves us, so we should always love Him. Christ is Everything.

Luck or Miracle

Is your life rocking yet? Well mine is! Actually, Sunday I could have been killed. Have you ever thought why God let lunatics drive on the road? Well, I was driving to Lifeteen , which is my Church activity that I am a part of. It was a 25 m.p.h road, and this guy sped out of his driveway. I slammed on my breaks, slid on a patch of ice. I went out of control then, did a 360 spin on the road, and went up on a curb. A few feet away was a telephone pole. If I wouldn't have stopped, I would have slammed into the pole on my side. The angels were looking out for me. I took some time and prayed. I thanked my guardian angel and God. It wasn't luck that the car stopped before the telephone pole. I was spinning so fast that I should have hit it. God stopped the car for me. He put his hand out and stopped the car. He was watching out for me, and he is always watching out for you. He is the light of the world.
There is never luck, when things happen in your life. They are blessings or even miracles, that God placed in your life at the right time. Remember when you say you were lucky next time. Ask yourself," was I lucky or could it have been God that helped me today." God watches over us, and we need to understand that their is always an answer to being lucky.

Bible Rocks God's House

The Bible is very hard. In my life I didn't care for it. It is just a whole bunch of stories, I thought to myself. Yeah, they are a whole bunch of stories, but they made history. Every person in the Bible made history. Some made a bad history for man. A lot made a good history for us though. Without these special people in our lives I do not know how we would be living our lives today. The prophets were the greatest out of all the people in the Old Testament. They prepared the way for the coming of Christ. Christ, was everyone's celebrity though. He was their hero and star. Though no one knew who He was, a lot of people loved him, but He also had many enemies. God is awesome that is why my life Rocks the House!

Starting next week I will talk more about Christianity.

Christian Failure

I hear from many people," Well, I go to Church every Sunday". This isn't just the way to live a life for God. If you think this then you have failed to fulfill what God wants. There are many ways. A few way is to love, be charitable and kind, but mostly to pray. This is the biggest way to find out what God wants from you in your life. Another way is to follow God's commandments, because he gave us these commandments to follow. If these were given to us by God then why wouldn't we follow them? We should stay faithful to God. When we do have a casualty, it would be even harder to deal with something. Why? Without God in your life you do not know how powerful and loving He is. When a casualty does happen, many blame God. This also can lead to those, who are somewhat faithful to God, farther away from their faith. I think the more you grow closer to God, the more easier it will be to let go when a tragedy happens. Let us not forget why Christ died for us. He gave us his time, then why shouldn't we? Let us look at that picture and ask yourself," Would you take the place of this man?

My Life

I know a lot of people think: Here is a guy trying to help change us, but I bet he does not live his life like this. Well, no one lives a perfect life. Everyone has their falls. Everyone must give their time, talent, and treasures to God.

It is very hard. I mean I go to Mass, but I know this is not the only way to live a Christian life. (the next post will explain more) I forget to pray at times, but now since I go to work at night it is more easier. It is still hard though, because when I didn't have a great day I feel like not giving God what He wants from me. I know though that Christ did not want to die on the cross. I also know that He gave his life for us, so I must give my time, talent, and treasure.(you will find out more on the next post) When I go to work I have devoted a half an hour to him by listening to Praise and Worship. This has actually been very powerful. God has blessed me, because I have had people question me about my faith. They also ask why I listen to that music and tell me it is out of date. I ask them first with an easy question, " Why did Christ die on the cross for us? After they answer I tell them shouldn't we then give some of our time to God. I have people that have come up to me and have thanked me and said that they feel much better after praying.
I am also part of Lifeteen. It is an awesome evening filled with faithful team leaders. It is amazing how many kids want to learn more about the Christian faith.
I feel that God has something big planned in my life.

Rising Up

Many this weekend are excited! Ohio State and Michigan are playing this weekend. It is one of the biggest game that is watched in the United States. This is where I think football is great, but people go too far. Here is a game where people cheer their loudest and hold big parties.
But when we go to Church do we sing and praise God as loud as we can. We forget winning a game is great, but having God in our lives is even greater. Football teams can only win a ball game. God wins people souls and allows them to come into heaven Go Buckeyes! Even better though- Go GOD!!! Amen

Life is Awesome!!!

Why did I start making this blog?
One was because of the help of a friend, she made me interested to make one.

What is the point of this blog?
It is to reach out and let others know how thankful they should be to have a life lived full of happiness.

Why should we care?
We are blessed to have a home, food, and a God that we love. There are so many throughout the world that live on the streets. They even die on the streets. Many people are poor, while in the United States we live our lives like we are in paradise. Life is not going to last forever. We forget that we are going to die, and depending on how we live our lives we will get judged by God. We should be growing closer to God, because who knows the end of the world could happen tomorrow. Plus, Christ suffered and died for us, and saved us. Let us remember that. Those who read this I am trying to get to a point here. Straighten up your lives, and maybe just maybe your lives will rock.

Rock On!!!!!

Life Rocks! I bet you didn't even know that, because life is to crazy and busy.
